Built 80-node, 8-server computer network with Samsung VoIP phone
system. Designed and
supervised 2-year IT construction project for new 60,000 sq ft
building with bonded T1, terminal server thin client data
collection, wireless lab. Linked
new and old buildings during construction.

Provided
telephone and on-site client support and development for 28 court
systems using UniVerse software product. Provided telephone
support and development for clients of commercial freight billing

PROJECT
MANAGEMENT
Finished
2-year project in 4 months. Headed up team to redesign an
integrated form for finished goods rating plates and carton
labels. Worked with Engineering,Customer Service,
Sales/Marketing, Production Control, Production Planning and
Purchasing. Tracked progress and solved problems, designed
system and programs, wrote 50% of programming. The new form
was weatherproof, adhesive-backed, prescored, with various sized
text, bar codes and graphics meeting government requirements.

user, installation and reference manuals and online
documentation. Published the company's weekly
newsletter what's really HOT for 5 years, and APICS
Northcoast Newsletter monthly for 3 years. Authored major

HIGH
QUALITY LASERJET PCL5 PRINTING
Freed
up countless data entry hours by programming output from database
reports to laser printers using PCL printer language. Reports
were for Senior Staff and needed to be high quality, highly
formatted, hard copy output. Data had previously been
re-entered manually into Lotus 123 after running the reports, to
achieve laser-quality output. Handled most programming
involving complicated laser printer setups and graphics. |

REBUILT NETWORK FROM GROUND UP
Replaced
everything starting from scratch.
Completely rewired both buildings, turned 10mb network into
Cat5 Certified 50-user W2K3 network with smart switches, new
servers, fibre-optic connection between the buildings, T1 internet
connection, and new client workstations.
Upgraded phone system by adding phone lines, fax lines,
voice-mail, and additional extensions.
Completed in 6 months.
SOFTWARE
DEVELOPMENT
Wrote
module to handle electronic data transfer of BMV license forfeiture
information and install over the phone on 28 court systems,
each heavily customized.
PC
HARDWARE & SOFTWARE SUPPORT
Maintain
PC's on Windows 2003 network. Provide training, support and
documentation for Windows and major software packages. Upgrade
and repair PC hardware.

Led
department of 56 people, in fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring skills

CODES
Automated
inventory tracking by designing and programming inventory
stock tags printed on laserjet printer on pre-scored
adhesive-backed material, containing text and bar
codes. Tags scanned with hand-held bar code guns by
forklift truck operators as stock is moved.
UNIX-TO-PC
DATA TRANSFER & CONVERSION
Responsible
for figuring out data transfer and conversion between HP H70 mini
(running UNIX, UniData) and Windows PC workstations. Wrote
programs to exchange figures with outside companies. Provided
non-PC data to PC users in Service Parts, Customer
Service, Sales/Marketing, Accounting, Production Planning, Q/C,
